THIS IS A CRY FOR HELP !!! Once again I must admit that i'm disappointed, that not many people have taken part for signing and sharing the petitions against the brutal killing and torturing of the "GALGOS" The Spanish Greyhounds..these friendly kind dogs are seen in Spain by a large group as real garbage and even worth.. and actually they are so kind and social.. it really breaks my heart !! if you really care you must do your best to SIGN & SHARE WIDELY AND URGENTLY THE ➨ 20☚ ASSEMBLED PETITIONS HERE••••••►http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=215080601955707&set=a.110440022419766.11614.100003613067737&type=3&theater
This is one of these ways they kill greyhounds in Spain. They put wooden or plastic blocks in their mouth which cause them to starve or die or dehydration..!!!!!
The greyhounds owners (they use them for hunting) have the rights to put them to death if they didn't do a good hunting season.They starve them,hung them slowly,put them in holes,in a black room without food or water,shoot at them,tie them to a car or they hang down the dogs into trees..! Tens of thousands die each year in horrific conditions.The Spanish laws doesn't protect them.The honor of the owner allows him to punish his dog as it pleases him.in the Canaries islands (Gran Canaria) the situation is similar..!!!

➨ THE FACTS: The dogs left to die after they 'humiliated' their masters !!!(imagine that in Europe in this century!)

➨ 50,000 greyhounds are killed by their owners in Spain each year after they grow too old, or turn out to be too slow to hunt with !!!!!!

Hanging is just one of the methods used. Dogs have been found thrown into wells, burnt alive and even injected with bleach.

But Rey's ( short Story of a rescued dog) intended fate was, even within the levels of cruelty routinely shown to Spanish hunting dogs, especially nasty. The noose around his neck had been set at a height so that his front paws could not touch the ground, meaning that he was intended to stand on his back legs until he was too tired to support himself. When his legs finally buckled, the noose should have done its work.

They call it the typewriting death (Or "Piano playing" see the pic from my link petitions), because the dog's back legs scrabble against the ground and make the clicking sound of a typewriter,' said Albert Sorde, of the SOS Galgos greyhound rescue group. 'It is a punishment they save for greyhounds that are deemed to have humiliated or embarrassed their owners..

Dogs used for hunting, which is still legal in Spain, live their entire lives on the brink of starvation, un-stimulated, in cramped, dark spaces or tied on short chains.
These dogs, as many other animals, are seen only as a useful tool that can be replaced and discarded when no longer needed.
By Spanish law it is forbidden to use physical abuse, maim dogs,keep dogs on short chains and abandon dogs. But the Spanish government has turned a blind eye to the plight of Galgos and Podencos.
Many of them live only until they are 2 to 3 years old, then they are replaced.
The Galgos are brutally murdered at the end of hunting season. Tens of thousands of these dogs are abandoned and starve to death, or are tied around the neck and hanged in such a way to a tree, that the animal barely reaches the ground. Being murdered in this way is a slow death. The dog has time to feel immense panic, anxiety, and suffering. This suffocation can take hours and sometimes even days

Pues no imagines, está pasando en A Coruña, y ahora Esquerda Unida ha puesto el dedo en la llaga del derroche y falta de cuidado hacia los animales abandonados.
