Seis meses de edad cachorro hembra de raza mixta se señaló a la Animal Rescue Baltimore y Shelter Care ( BARCS ) el 28 de mayo por un buen samaritano que la encontró en un callejón detrás de Court Hill Deacon en Brooklyn , MD.
El buen Sam dijo que era amable, y trató de levantarla , pero estaba demasiado débil para moverse o llegar al callejón por sí misma por lo que debe haber sido colocada allí , probablemente ese mismo día. Ella mostraba signos de desnutrición y no habría sido capaz de valerse por sí misma en su condición si perdida durante más de un día o dos.
Ella tiene un caso extremo de la sarna que se ha dejado sin tratamiento durante meses , causando lesiones en todo el cuerpo y la sepsis de la infección. Ella fue encontrada muerta de hambre , sangrando por innumerables heridas , todas las materias primas y dolor con descarga por todo su cuerpo .
Nombrado Deacon, que estaba harta de inmediato y se trató a BARCS , luego a la izquierda con un transporte de emergencia a las 4 horas de esta mañana en su camino a Carolina del Sur para la continuación del tratamiento y la recuperación en el Arca de Noé de rescate .

A six month old female mixed-breed puppy was brought to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) on May 28 by a good Samaritan who found her in an alley behind Deacon Hill Court in Brooklyn, MD.

The good Sam said she was friendly, and tried to get up, but was too weak to move or get to the alley by herself so must have been placed there, probably earlier that day. She showed signs of malnutrition and would not have been able to fend for herself in her condition if stray for longer than a day or two.

She has an extreme case of mange that has been left untreated for months, causing lesions all over her body and sepsis from infection. She was found starving, bleeding from countless wounds, all raw and sore with discharge all over her body.

Named Deacon, she was immediately fed and treated at BARCS, then left with an emergency transport at 4 am this morning on her way to South Carolina for continued treatment and recovery at Noah's Ark Rescue.

We are asking the public for help on this investigation. Anyone with information about Deacon should contact Animal Control directly at 410-396-4689.

Each year, BARCS receives hundreds of animals that are seriously sick or injured and in need of immediate emergency medical attention. Through our Franky Fund, we are able to save hundreds of animals each year. Unfortunately, BARCS does not have enough funding or resources for extensive, specialized long term treatment necessary for some of the animals taken in. The Franky Fund enables us to begin treatment on these more severe cases while we reach out to our rescue partners for additional care.
